The Authorised Officer of the Business is authorised to perform the following on behalf of the Business:
• To provide the information contained in this Account Opening Application form;
• To open a Payment Account with Opal Fintech Pte. Ltd. ("Opal") in the name of the Business subject to Opal’s terms and conditions and any schedules and privacy policy as published on the site www.opalpayment.com and as amended from time to time;
• To communicate and instruct Opal on all matters between the Business and Opal, including the opening, closing and movement of funds in the operation of the Payment Account via the designated bank account(s); and
• To instruct Opal to add or delete Authorised Officers, with the same terms and conditions herein
The Authorised Officer confirms that the funds used, received and sent via the Payment Account do not have, in the past, present and future, a direct or indirect criminal origin and/or criminal purpose, and that the Business or any of its (beneficial owner(s)/director(s)/partner(s)) do not and have not been involved in any activity related to illegal money laundering, terrorism and tax evasion.
The Authorised Officer agrees and acknowledges that giving false or misleading information may result in immediate suspension of the business relationships and may lead to legal proceedings or reporting to the competent authorities as prescribed by the applicable legislation. All information provided and documents submitted in connection with this application is complete, accurate and correct. The Authorised Officer undertake to immediately inform Opal in writing upon the occurrence of any change in the above information. The Business relationship with Opal is governed in accordance with Singapore legislation and regulations, and the Authorised Officer is completely aware of his/her obligations.
I am aware that a copy of this Account Opening Application form will be emailed to the director(s)/partner(s) for their review and attention.
Upon submission of your application, OPAL will interpret this action as an expression of the company and/or its representative(s)' intention to open an account with OPAL. The application process will continue unless OPAL receives a directive to the contrary from an Authorised Officer or Director(s) of the company.
